Elder spun out in the 14th lap and was sent to the rear of the 6 kart field. Elder fought his way back to the front of the pack by the 16th lap and held off the field to win the race.

The #95 of Bryson Gilbert started third in the main event with the #36 of Wayne Felch on the pole and the #27 of Eddie Gilbert in second. With the #27 of Eddie Gilbert bringing out a caution on lap 13 the #95 of Bryson Gilbert secured second place. On the restart the #36 of Wayne Felch had mechanic failure with his kart sending him to the rear resulting in him exiting the track and #95 of Bryson Gilbert taking the pole. Gilbert (#95) retained the lead in front of Gilbert (#27) the remaining 6 laps of the race finishing with his dad pushing against his bumper.
